Concession Stands

Concession stands are considered a type of CCC funding, and the CCC allocates stands to undergraduate clubs prior to the start of the football season each year.

Concession stands are a great way to fundraise for your club's needs and to showcase your club to the larger Notre Dame community. Well-run stands report average profits of approximately $1,700. Some clubs are even able to secure extra donations in the form of tips. 

Concession Stand Application

The first round of concession stand allocations happens as part of the annual Spring Allocation process. Clubs declare their desire to hold a stand on their Spring Allocation budget sheet and on their Spring Budget Training check-in form. The Spring Budget Training check-in also asks clubs to briefly explain why they would like to hold a stand.

Depending on the number of clubs that apply for a stand during Spring Allocations, the CCC may hold a second round of concession stand applications. Clubs will be notified via email if there is to be a second round of concession stand applications. 

Each year, the CCC maintains a waitlist for concession stands. Any club that would like to be added to this waitlist should email ccc@nd.edu. Clubs on the waitlist given the opportunity to hold a stand will be notified of such by SAO as soon as the spot becomes available. 

Concession Stand Management

Once the CCC has allocated concession stands to undergraduate clubs, SAO will oversee all subsequent matters regarding stand management, food orders, cash advance requests, and food safety training. Any questions a club may have about concession stand management after being assigned a stand should be directed to SAO.

Concession Stand Forfeiture

If your club has been allocated a concession stand and no longer wishes to host it, please reach out to the CCC and SAO. Clubs that forfeit their stand within two weeks (10 business days) of the date of the game the concession stand is to be held will be banned from holding a concession stand in the following football season.

For the 2024 football season, any club who wishes to forfeit their stand should email tadkins2@nd.edu as soon as possible.
